Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to traditional music, old boleros, as well as traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana enjoys tangos and the dramatic and opera performances. At the age 16, she started singing and studying music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started giving her a more intensive singing instruction. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. When she was a student, and a young professional, she sang with many chamber groups and opera choruses throughout Guadalajara and Mexico City. In 2000, she relocated into America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007 she moved to her current home in Southern California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. Her love and passion for art, music, and performing keeps her involved with many local organizations as a performer and teacher. Ana is also an ex-member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing classic Latin American songs and hopes to inspire others to do the same.
