Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop mainstream has been affected through his worldwide impact. Una Lady Como Tu (his 2016 hit) received a Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017 Favorite Song. The year after Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN as his debut full-length album. The album reached the top of the charts at number 8 on the Top Latin Albums charts. In the following year, he collaborated with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca which reached number five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. He collaborated alongside Noriel for Mala Influencia in the year 2020. He in the year following, he dropped his sophomore album chart-topping Dopamina. The year 2021 was the first time he was in a duet with TINI to perform her stream track Maldita Foto. 2000 which included the smash hit La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was born into a family of musicians both his parents are both musicians. In his interviews, he's described participating in music as compulsory. He was taught how to play the guitar, saxophone ukulele, and piano as an infant. While his initial career choice was becoming a vet, the brother Julian convinced him to take singing lessons with the help of a Cuban teacher and the end outcome of discovering his talents in the field of singing changed the direction of his life.
