Rosalia Vila aka Rosalia is the Spanish flamenco and pop performer. Since her teenage years she is a part of popular music and flamenco. Also, she has explored different genres such as hip-hop soul, Trap and. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitar and renowned musician has described the voice of this young artist as sharp with sweetness but with bite. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer an Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist her 2018 follow-up El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough topping Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and finally winning the Grammy. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami will be her third album. She worked with numerous producers and artists, such as Cory Henry. The release date was March 20, 2022, in the wake of the live performance by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia did her solo performance on the show for the very first time on the program. Motomami, Rosalia's album that won the three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female artist to win an award for Latin Album of the Year be awarded twice.
