Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actor. Beginning his career in television, Evans played parts such as Opposite and sex during 2000. After appearances in a variety of teens' films, including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he became famous for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics characters such as the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans was also seen in films that were based on graphic novels and comics: TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) Snowpiercer and Snowpiercer(2013). The character of Steve Rogers as Captain America was featured is in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 and 2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) as well as Endgame 2019 brought him greater fame. The work he did on the Marvel series helped establish him as one of the world's highest-paid actors.
